Big 27-inch All-In-One PCs are as big as the iMac 27-inch but not nearly as high resolution as 5K on the iMac. Some displays are Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) while others are UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels). Naturally, our choice will be to go for ones with UHD display but this will push the price up significantly.

Intel Core i7-12700T vs Intel Core i7-12700 vs Intel Core i7-1255U

While both Core i7-12700T and Core i7-12700 are Alder Lake S processor for desktop, with the same number of cores and threads, the Core i7-12700T runs cooler at 35W Typical TDP and 99W Turbo TDP compare to 65W Typical TDP and 180W Turbo TDP. This also means the efficient cores have a lower base frequency of 1.00GHz (Turbo Boost to 3.4GH) compared to 1.60GHz (Turbo Boost to 3.6GHz). The performance cores also have lower base and turbo speeds at 1.40GHz and 4.70GHz compared to 2.10GHz and 4.90GHz.

These translate to a big difference in performance. From the Average CPU Mark scores, we are talking 36% gain in performance and 5.2% gain in single thread rating. In essence, the Intel Core i7-12700 is the one to get for maximum performance. If you are more about efficiency then look for either the Intel Core i7-12700T or the ultra efficient mobile processor, the Intel Core i7-1255U which is in by one of the desktop manufacturers below. It only takes 13-15W of power at typical TDP and maxes out at 55W (TDP Up).

Keeping the electric bill low means you miss out on performance. The Intel Core i7-12700 is 2.3 times and the Intel Core i7-12700T is 1.7 times more powerful than the Intel Core i7-1255U. Here is a quick performance comparison table:

Intel Core i7-11700T vs Intel Core i7-1165G7

There are also two 11th generation Intel® Core™ i7-11700T octa-core and the new 11th generation Intel Core i7-1165G7 quad-core processor. Pick a machine with more memory 8GB or more, for better multitasking and faster app switching. Next with have a desktop based on the ultra efficient Intel Core i7-1255U processor. It is not the fastest processor among the 12th generation Intel Core i7 featured here, but it is more than sufficient for browsing, opening large documents and streaming videos. Next, we have the Dell Inspiron AIO 7700. The unit is powered by the 11^th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor and is paired with a dedicated GPU, the NVIDIA GeForce MX330 with 2GB graphics memory. It is not the fastest GPU but will give the integrated Intel Irix Xe graphics a run for its money. Powered again by Intel Core i7-1165G7 it is not short on processing cycles and together with a generous 16GB memory and dual storage solution, its your perfect do it all companion.

That big 27-inch display is again a touchscreen with Full HD resolution. Wrapped in micro-edge bezel on three sides, made possible by concealing the web cam in a pop-up housing, it leaves the bottom bezel for front facing speakers. Okay, we have to admit that it is not exactly a 27-inch All-in-One PC, but we couldn’t resist. As its name suggests, the HP Envy 32 comes with a much bigger display at 31.5-inch. But it’s not just any 31.5-inch panel. It is a HDR 4K Ultra HD resolution display with wide viewing angle, DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and super 600nits brightness. All that is wrapped in super small bezel and as with all AIOs, accented with a sound bar that is also ever so slightly tilted up so the audio is directed at the user for that sweet custom-tuned Bang & Olufsen sound.

As for power, the Envy 32 gets it from the 10th generation Intel Core i7-10700 Octa-Core processor with 16GB system memory and fast 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. This is a true premium offering with no expense spared in its design. Even the pop-up web cam carries a whooping 5MP sensor. HP has done it again, the all silver finish, matching keyboard and mouse does let it stand out from the boring black panels we have seen. What is more, the 27-inch display is a Quad HD panel making everything super sharp and crisp. It even comes with DVD writer and 3-in-1 memory card reader.

If you have seen the HP Pavilion 27-inch monitor, the HP Pavilion 27 All-In-One PC is not very different safe for the bigger bezel to house the camera. The 27-inch display is bright and sharp. Some of the USB ports are located at the bottom of the display which makes it difficult to access.

With an industry-leading 8th generation Intel Core i7-8700T hexa-core processor, 8GB RAM and a combination of 128GB super fast SSD storage plus 2TB hard disk drive will chew and spit out everything you throw at it at break neck speed. You will have the power and storage to do it all. We would have liked it if there is more memory but 8GB is plenty for most things. Then there is the discrete AMD Radeon 530 graphics with 2GB dedicated graphics memory to open up doors to the gaming world for anybody.

The HP Pavilion 27 is not only fast but runs silent too. The touchscreen is a great addition especially on a large screen like this.

Another entry from HP, this time the HP Envy All-In-One PC also with 27-inch Ultra HD monitor but with integrated touchscreen. It also takes on a whole new design language, one that is darker and more rectangular with sharp edges while maintaining a mysterious and sleek outlook. It differentiate itself from the rest where instead of jamming all the components behind the display, HP has opted instead to use a set-top box styled base. This is the machine that will make iMac users green with envy especially when it supports touch.

If you wish to stand out or make a statement, this is the machine to do it with. It combines a modern design with cutting-edge power. One thing we like about the display besides it being UHD and touch enabled is that it is attached on a hinge that allows it to tilt up to back up to 35° back. It may not be 45° back to make it flat like MS Surface Studio but at that angle and with touch support, it feels a lot like a Studio.

HP Pavilion 27 All-In-One PC 27-inch (Intel Core i7)

HP launched a new HP Pavilion 27 adopting a new ultra narrow bezel design for its display. This same design is also used on their smaller HP Pavilion 24. This All-In-One computer is definitely a looker with its angular body and integrated B&O sound bar at the bottom of the screen. To keep the top bezel ultra slim, the web cam is housed in a pop-up mechanism.
