The Story

As I alight from the car, I accidentally caught the charging cable and my iPhone came with me out of the door but was still hanging by the charging cable, dangling some 3-inches about the ground. It wasn’t long before the cable slips out of its charging pot and the iPhone landed on its top left corner.

My phone only had a slim sleeve and the drop caused the screen to crack with a line across the top bezel near the impact zone. While it did not block my view of the display given the pretty large top and bottom bezels, the fact that my iPhone now has a cracked screen does disappoint me a little.
